TEST TEAM LEAD -Night Shift -SEMICONDUCTOR

Our core capabilities include Conveyor Controls, Tooling Controls, Aarell Process Controls, Vision System Integration, and UL‑Certified Control Systems. Job Purpose to carry out testing of controllers, electrical panels, and assemblies prior to final approval and delivery to customers. This role involves working in a potentially hazardous test environment, requiring strict safety compliance, PPE use, and adherence to training standards as required under Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations. Key Responsibilities• Perform testing of panels, controls, and electrical assemblies.
- Conduct Thermography testing using approved equipment and methods.
- Document all test results accurately (computer logs, forms, photographs, video where enquired).
- Follow written test procedures and safety protocols.
- Comply with LOTO (Lock‑Out Tag‑Out) procedures.
- Complete documentation requirements, both paper and electronic.• Connect and disconnect a variety of cables, harnesses, and test interfaces. • Follow production router sheets and job travelers.
Required Competencies & Traits
- Ability to comply with all company safety standards and WSH regulations.
- Team player with strong independent work habits.
- Mechanical/electrical sub‑assembly knowledge.
- Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical layout drawings.
- Familiarity with Red Tag / Non‑conformance tagging systems.
- Ability to understand and apply work instructions.
- Competence using common hand and power tools (drills, torque tools, etc.).
- Ability to use electric and manual pallet jacks.
- Understanding of daily 6S / Lean workplace practices.
- Ability to read and use quality checklists.
- Ability to meet production expectations (Safety, Quality, Efficiency).
- CPR/First Aid/AED training (company‑provided if needed).
- Ethical, reliable, and conscientious. Essential Physical Requirements
- May sit or stand while operating computers and monitoring tests.
- Able to lift up to 12 kg (approx. 25 lbs) occasionally.
- No conductive jewelry or accessories allowed in the test cell.
- Sitting: 50–55%• Standing: 30–35%• Walking / reaching / bending: 5–10%
Education & Experience Requirement Required: Electrical background or prior manufacturing floor experience (Assembly, Verification, and Inspection)
- Basic troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to understand engineering diagrams, schematics, and relay technical communication.
Computer Skills:
- Windows OS
- Syteline ERP system
- Specialized testing and Thermography software Working Environment
- Must be able to wear required PPE: long-sleeved FR clothing, long pants, safety shoes, andan arc‑flash helmet/shield when needed
- Must be comfortable using multiple types of protective gloves.
- Work is conducted in an electrical test cell with energized equipment from 208 VAC to 480VAC.Employment Requirements (Singapore)
- Must be legally authorized to work in Singapore in compliance with MOM regulations. Benefit:
