Our Legal team is seeking a Legal Counsel to join our team in Vilnius. In this position you will provide comprehensive legal support to all Inchcape businesses in Lithuania, ensuring legal compliance, effective risk management, and strong business partnership across the organization.
WHAT YOUâLL DO
Provide legal support for all Inchcape businesses in Lithuania. Act as a trusted legal advisor to the Lithuanian management team. Collaborate with Inchcapeâs regional and global legal teams. Ensure compliance with data protection laws, including GDPR, manage data privacy policies, and oversee data breach response procedures. Advise on corporate governance, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance. Monitor legal developments and ensure compliance with Lithuanian and European laws, including anti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering, and antitrust regulations. Oversee corporate governance matters, including board resolutions, company secretarial duties, and statutory record maintenance. Identify legal risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage litigation and disputes. Represent the company in negotiations, legal proceedings, and external regulatory relations. Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, including dealership, employment, lease, IT, insurance, and other commercial agreements.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will bring: A master's degree in law from a recognised university. 3â5 years of experience in corporate and commercial law. Less experience may be considered for a highly promising candidate. Strong knowledge of Lithuanian and European Union legal requirements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. A high level of ethics, integrity, and professionalism. Fluency in Lithuanian and strong English skills, both written and verbal.
