Part-Time Video Editor

ijós Moments/Studios is looking for a Part-Time Video Editor to join our creative team.

We create visual content across F&B, events and product brands, and we’re looking for someone who can take our raw footage and turn it into engaging, polished videos for social media and brand use.

This is a fast-paced role with ongoing work, so we’re looking for someone who can commit up to 20 hours per week (50% capacity) and can consistently turn around edits within agreed timelines.

What you’ll be working on

Depending on upcoming projects, you’ll be editing:

  • Food and restaurant videos
  • Event content
  • Short-form social media videos / Reels
  • Product and lifestyle videos
  • Behind-the-scenes content
  • Other brand and campaign content

What you’ll be doing

  • Review and organise raw footage
  • Select the strongest clips and build engaging edits
  • Edit videos for different platforms and formats
  • Colour grade footage and maintain a consistent visual look
  • Sync and edit audio and music
  • Add text, transitions and basic motion graphics where required
  • Work from creative briefs and references
  • Make revisions based on feedback
  • Export and organise final files according to our workflow

What we’re looking for

You should be comfortable working independently and have a strong eye for:

  • Pacing and storytelling
  • Composition and visual flow
  • Colour and consistency
  • Music and sound
  • Creating content that feels natural rather than overly edited

Software experience:

  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • CapCut
  • Final Cut Pro

You don’t necessarily need to be an expert in all three, but you should be highly comfortable with at least one professional editing workflow and able to work with the others as required.

Speed matters We work in a fast-moving environment, and quick turnaround is an important part of this role. You should be comfortable working to tight deadlines without compromising on the quality of the edit. When we have multiple shoots running at once, being organised and able to prioritise is essential.

Please include examples of your work and, where possible, let us know your typical turnaround time for a 30–60 second social media video.

Onboarding & training We will provide a detailed onboarding process to familiarise you with:

  • The type of content we produce
  • Our editing style and visual direction
  • How we approach different types of videos
  • Our workflow and file organisation
  • Brand-specific requirements
  • Our expectations around quality and turnaround

You won’t be expected to know our style from day one. We’re looking for someone who is able to learn our way of working and apply it consistently.

The person we’re looking for You might be a good fit if you are:

  • Creative with a strong visual eye
  • Fast and efficient
  • Detail-oriented
  • Reliable with deadlines
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Open to feedback and revisions
  • Good at communicating and asking questions when needed
  • Able to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Looking for a consistent, ongoing part-time opportunity

To apply Please send us:

  • Your portfolio or showreel
  • 3–5 examples of videos you have personally edited (particularly Reels, F&B, lifestyle, product, event or wedding content)
  • The editing software you use
  • Your typical turnaround time for a 30–60 second video
  • Your availability and the number of hours you can commit each week
  • Your expected rate

Commitment: Up to 20 hours/week Work arrangement: Remote only Start date: As soon as possible Compensation: $350 to $500
