Key Responsibilities

Support communication and coordination with local partners, government offices, consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Arrange meetings, prepare meeting notes, follow up on action items, and track pending issues. Assist with document collection, filing, translation, basic research, and local information verification. Help coordinate logistics for site visits, partner meetings, government meetings, and business trips. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management. Support basic administrative work, including scheduling, procurement coordination, local errands, and office support. Help identify practical issues on the ground and propose solutions in a timely manner. Maintain organized records of contacts, documents, approvals, correspondence, and project updates.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, international relations, engineering, energy, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in project coordination, administration, business support, government liaison, or partner coordination. Strong communication skills in English. Knowledge of Luganda or other local languages is an advantage. Good organizational skills and ability to follow up until tasks are completed. Comfortable working with different stakeholders, including government, private companies, consultants, and local communities. Proficient in Microsoft Office, email, WhatsApp communication, and basic reporting. Honest, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Experience supporting Chinese or international companies is an advantage.

Preferred Qualities

Practical problem-solving mindset. Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality. Able to travel within Uganda when required. Patient, professional, and good at relationship coordination.
