The Chief Engineer, as head of engine department is responsible for the operation, upkeep and maintenance of all machineries. It is the paramount responsibility of the chief engineer for the safe, efficient and economical operation of the machinery and no other duty or consideration shall interfere with his direct and personal supervision over its operation.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering or Associate in Marine Engineering. • Must be duly licensed by MARINA in compliance with MC-2020-03 (Chief Engineer / OIC-NW).

Remarks: Position needed for domestic tanker/barge, bunkering vessels.
