Location: Laconia, NH Start Date: ASAP Helper Rate: $18.33 per hour

We are seeking a dependable and patient helper to assist an elderly couple:

Female (82): Uses a walker for mobility

Male (83): Has dementia and requires supervision and guidance

The role focuses on ensuring safety, routine support, and light assistance with daily activities .

Care Responsibilities

Assist with showers

Provide general daily support and supervision

Ensure home safety and fall prevention

Assist the male client with getting onto a lawnmower (must be comfortable supervising and ensuring safe setup)

Offer companionship and redirection as needed (due to dementia)

Schedule

2 days per week (flexible)

2-3 hours per day

Ideal Candidate

Experience with dementia care is a plus

Comfortable assisting with mobility and safety supervision

Patient, attentive, and reliable

Good judgment and awareness for safety, especially during outdoor activity

This role is ideal for a helper who can balance hands-on support with supervision , especially for a client with dementia, while also assisting with light physical tasks and maintaining a safe environment.
