Develop and implement marketing and business development strategies for the company's building materials trading business .
Identify and develop new overseas markets, customers, suppliers and business opportunities, particularly in the China and other international markets .
Source and evaluate potential suppliers of construction and building materials from overseas markets.
Develop and maintain business relationships with international suppliers, customers, contractors, developers and other business partners.
Manage and coordinate import and export activities for building materials , including quotations, purchase orders, shipping arrangements, customs clearance, trade documentation and delivery coordination.
Research and monitor prices, market trends, product availability and competitive conditions for construction and building materials.
Support negotiations with overseas suppliers and customers on pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial terms .
Coordinate with the finance, procurement, logistics, project and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of trading activities.
Monitor the financial and commercial aspects of trading transactions, including purchase costs, selling prices, margins, payment terms and cash flow .
Assist management in evaluating the profitability and commercial viability of new trading opportunities.
Prepare market research, sales forecasts, business proposals and management reports relating to the building materials trading business.
Assist in developing new product lines and expanding the company's portfolio of construction and building materials.
Support the company's overall business operations by coordinating between international suppliers, customers, logistics providers and internal departments.
Attend business meetings, trade discussions and negotiations with overseas clients and suppliers.
Monitor existing customer and supplier accounts and identify opportunities for repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, International Business, Economics or a related discipline .
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in international marketing, business development, trading, import/export or business operations.
Experience in building materials, construction materials or related trading businesses will be highly advantageous.
Demonstrated experience working with overseas markets , particularly the China market .
Practical knowledge of import/export procedures, customs clearance, international shipping, logistics and trade documentation .
Experience in sourcing, purchasing or trading construction and building materials will be an advantage.
Good understanding of pricing, cost calculation, profit margins, budgeting and cash flow .
Strong commercial awareness and ability to evaluate trading opportunities from both a business and financial perspective.
Experience coordinating with suppliers, customers, logistics providers and internal operational teams.
Strong negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills.
Able to work independently and manage multiple international business and trading activities.
