Formulation Assistant

Job Descriptions :

• Assist in developing and conducting formulation trials for new and existing cosmetic products.
• Participate in formulation discussions by providing ideas, observations, and input based on formulation knowledge and trial results.
• Prepare raw materials, samples, and laboratory equipment for formulation trials and testing.
• Conduct and document formulation trials, results, and observations accurately.
• Support product testing and production-scale trials as needed.
• Operate basic laboratory equipment such as pH meter, viscometer, etc.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, materials, cleanliness, and organization.
• Support Product Innovation Development activities as required.

Requirements :

• Minimum SMK Pharmacy, Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or related fields.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in cosmetic formulation/R&D is preferred.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of cosmetic formulation, raw materials, and dosage forms.
• Familiar with basic laboratory equipment and practices.
• Basic knowledge of CPKB is preferred.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to document trial results accurately.
• Proactive and comfortable contributing ideas and discussing formulations with the team.
• Willing to learn and develop knowledge in cosmetic formulation and laboratory work.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willing to work hands-on in the laboratory and maintain lab cleanliness and organization
