Quality Engineer

Hanwha Aerospace is hiring a Quality Engineer to join our manufacturing operations in Cairo.

This opportunity is well suited to a quality professional with 3–5 years of manufacturing experience who wants to move beyond routine inspection and take ownership of production quality, problem solving and quality-system implementation. You will work closely with production and engineering teams and help establish reliable local quality practices as operations grow.

In this role, you will:

• Verify product and process conformity against approved drawings, work instructions and inspection criteria.
• Support quality activities across machining, welding, assembly and product-inspection processes.
• Create and maintain nonconformity reports, evidence and disposition records.
• Coordinate root-cause analysis, corrective actions and recurrence-prevention activities, and follow actions through closure.
• Review manufacturing and quality documents and compare documented requirements with actual products and shop-floor processes.
• Apply QMS procedures in daily production and identify gaps in inspection criteria or work instructions.
• Maintain accurate quality records and report recurring issues, open actions and improvement progress.
• Work with production, engineering and design teams to resolve quality issues using clear evidence and approved procedures.
• Share quality requirements with local employees and international support personnel.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
• 3–5 years of QA/QC or production-quality experience in mechanical, electrical or industrial manufacturing.
• Ability to read 2D drawings, English work instructions and inspection criteria and compare them with actual products and processes.
• Practical understanding of nonconformity management, root-cause analysis, corrective action and recurrence prevention.
• Ability to maintain clear quality records and prepare reports using MS Office.
• Proactive shop-floor approach and the ability to coordinate issues with production, engineering and design teams.
• Working English communication skills for technical documents and collaboration with international specialists.
• Ability to communicate quality requirements clearly to local production personnel in Arabic.
• Willingness to work on-site in Cairo and support approved weekend or overtime work when production requires it, in accordance with Egyptian law and company procedures.

Experience in machining, welding, assembly or product inspection and familiarity with QMS documents and procedures are strongly preferred.
