We are a family-focused salon dedicated to making every visit fun, comfortable, and memorable. From a child's very first haircut to the latest cuts and styles for older kids, our goal is to help every child feel special, confident, and excited about their visit.

Our salon offers a fun, kid-friendly environment where children can enjoy Disney+, play on a tablet, or challenge themselves on the Nintendo Switch while getting their hair done.

Your tasks

• Provide professional hair services, including haircuts, shampooing, blow-drying, and styling.
• Create a positive, welcoming, and memorable experience for every child and family.
• Communicate effectively with children and parents, listening carefully to their needs and preferences.
• Stay up to date with current haircutting and styling trends.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming salon environment.
• Multitask effectively in a busy, fast-paced salon.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist with additional services, such as ear piercing and mini manicures, if trained and comfortable.

The Opportunity Hair Tropics Cuts for Kids is looking for friendly, outgoing, and passionate hairstylists to join our team! The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, a warm smile, and the patience and personality to connect with children of all ages.

You don't need to be a magician, but you should love making little clients feel comfortable, confident, and special!

Whether you're an experienced stylist or looking for a salon where you can grow your skills, we'd love to hear from you.

• A minimum of one year of hairstyling experience.
• A warm, friendly, and outgoing personality.
• A genuine love of working with children.
• Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work weekends and evenings, with shifts ending no later than 7:00 p.m.
• A commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Previous experience working with children is an asset, but a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are just as important!

• hair styling: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification

• Journeyman/ Apprentice certification? (preferred)
