The Frontend Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining user-facing web applications across multiple frontend frameworks (Vue.js, Quasar, Next.js, React, and Angular) to support the Optimus / Source Reporting team's reporting and application delivery needs.

This role implements responsive, high-quality UI components, ensures cross-browser compatibility, and works closely with backend engineers, UI/UX designers, business stakeholders, and project teams to deliver reliable, user-friendly solutions.

The position focuses on frontend engineering and delivery rather than people management.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience building production web applications using Vue.js and/or React.

At least 2 years of experience building applications with the Quasar Framework.

Hands-on experience with Next.js (v7 or later), React (v16 or later), and Angular (v11 or later).

Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.

Experience integrating frontend applications with REST/GraphQL APIs is preferred.

Strong understanding of frontend architecture, component-based design, and state management.

Experience building and maintaining production applications using Vue.js and the Quasar Framework.

Knowledge of building applications with Next.js (v7), React (v16), and Angular (v11), including:

Component lifecycle and state management

Routing and navigation

API integration and data binding

Responsive and cross-browser UI implementation

Build, bundling, and deployment processes

Third-party library and plugin integration

Strong JavaScript/TypeScript programming skills.

Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.

Understanding of browser rendering, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.

Basic understanding of RESTful/GraphQL API consumption.

Knowledge of accessibility and UI/UX best practices.

Experience using version control and collaboration tools such as Git, Jira, or similar.
