industrial mechanic and millwright

Reporting to the Maintenance Director, the Millwright is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining all plant equipment.

*Job Responsibilities Include:*

• Installing, aligning, and moving stationary industrial machinery (like pumps, motors, and conveyors).
• Reading blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings.
• Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment.
• Cleaning, lubricating, and performing routine preventive maintenance.
• Operating machine tools to make or fix custom parts

*Required Qualifications Include:*

-General Mechanical Maintenance with a minimum of 3+ years of experience.

-Must work well independently as well as in a team environment.

-Able to carry out a variety of tasks with minimal direction.

-Communicate effectively with management and fellow employees regarding issues, projects and timelines.

*-Ability to work a flexible work schedule. May be required to work nights, emergency call outs and weekends Overtime available.*

-Ability to maintain a clean and safe workplace.

-Must be physically able to perform the duties of the role.

-Knowledge of maintaining, inspecting, and repairing hydraulic motors and valves

-Knowledge of maintaining conveyors, gear boxes and belting.

-Knowledge equipment tear down and reassembly.

-Have the technical knowledge to undertake any assignment with or without direct supervision is essential.

-Following food safety guidelines while performing maintenance on various machines.
