We’re Looking For A(n): Shipping & Receiving Supervisor

Location: Seward, NE

What You’ll Be Doing:

Supervise Material Handlers and ensure proper procedures and policies are being followed

Enforce and uphold Golden Pet Manufacturing work rules, policies, procedures and report any known violation

Supervise loading and unloading of trailers to include inspection of the same

Maintain, update and develop shipping and receiving documents as needed

Investigate root cause and resolve inventory discrepancies

Coordinate and prioritize selection of orders, stock transfers, and production receipts as it relates to safety, quality and efficiency

Maintain established pre-shipment inspection programs to prevent incorrect stock shipments

Maintain effective employee relations to improve motivation and productivity through the use of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing concepts

Train employees and monitor performance to ensure work processes are accomplished in a timely and effective manner using flawless control over held products, rotation, damage control, GMP and BRC standards

Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):

High school diploma or GED equivalent

5 years experience in shipping and receiving

ERP and inventory control background

Comfortable operating a forklift
