WSH Officer

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and monitor Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) and Environmental Management Systems across project sites.
• Conduct site inspections, maintain safety records and ensure compliance with established safety procedures.
• Ensure site operations comply with the WSH Act, regulations and applicable legal requirements .
• Review risk assessments and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Report and investigate workplace incidents and implement appropriate follow-up actions.
• Attend site meetings and resolve HSE-related issues .
• Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety practices and programmes.

Requirements:

• Safety Officer Training Course orSpecialist Diploma in WSH .
• Registered Environmental Control Officer(ECO) .
• Minimum 2 years of WSH experience , including at least 2years in a construction site environment.
• Good knowledge of the WSH Act, subsidiary legislation and applicable legal requirements .
• Familiar with Workplace Safety & Health Management Systems(WSHMS) .
• Familiar with OHSAS 18001:2007, SS 506:2009 and ISO 14001 .
• Good understanding of construction works across various trades.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
