Mechanical Technician – Diesel Engines & Power Generation

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel engines and power generation equipment.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical faults on diesel-powered machinery and generators.

Carry out major and minor engine overhauls, rebuilds, and component replacements.

Conduct routine inspections and servicing to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare technical reports as required.

Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and industry best practices.

Requirements:

Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience working with diesel engines and associated mechanical systems.

Demonstrable experience in the maintenance and repair of diesel generators.

Ability to independently perform complete engine overhauls and major mechanical repairs.

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices and workshop procedures.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
