About the Role

This role owns the design and productization of PCS and inverter control software and algorithms, ensuring stable and reliable operation across grid conditions, loads, and operating modes while meeting grid-connection requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design, simulate, develop, debug, and deploy DSP control algorithms for residential energy storage inverters and PCS power conversion systems.
  2. Implement core functions including grid-connected and off-grid dual-mode control, photovoltaic MPPT, closed-loop power control, harmonic suppression, power-factor optimization, and system protection.
  3. Develop low-level drivers, control logic, and algorithm code on mainstream DSP platforms. Build simulation models and complete algorithm validation, parameter tuning, and performance optimization.
  4. Perform hardware and software integration and complete-system debugging. Diagnose and resolve control issues such as oscillation, harmonics, grid-connection instability, and inadequate dynamic response.
  5. Continuously improve control strategies in accordance with applicable international grid-connection requirements to ensure stable and reliable operation under different grid conditions.
  6. Produce algorithm design documents, coding standards, and debugging reports, and establish a reusable control-algorithm technical system for ongoing product development.
  7. Define control-performance metrics and algorithm acceptance criteria and establish a closed validation loop across simulation, bench testing, and complete-system testing.
  8. Perform software-in-the-loop or hardware-in-the-loop testing to validate control behavior under extreme grid conditions, load transients, mode transitions, and fault scenarios.
  9. Establish requirements for code review, version control, parameter configuration, and release management so that algorithm and parameter changes remain traceable.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree or above in power electronics, automation, control engineering, or a related discipline. At least 10 years of DSP algorithm development experience for energy storage or photovoltaic inverters.
  2. Expertise in embedded C development for DSP platforms, with a strong understanding of power conversion control and core algorithms for grid-connected and off-grid switching, MPPT, and closed-loop control.
  3. Proficiency with control-algorithm simulation tools and the ability to independently complete algorithm modeling and simulation validation.
  4. Substantial experience in hardware and software integration, fault isolation, and algorithm optimization. Experience bringing energy storage products into mass production is preferred.
  5. Able to read technical materials and prepare algorithm design, development, and debugging documents in English.
  6. Experience in digital control-system stability analysis, control-parameter tuning, and dynamic performance optimization.
  7. Familiarity with code version control, review practices, and embedded software release processes.
