Responsibilities:

Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, selection, and onboarding. Coordinate employee onboarding, documentation, contracts, personnel records, and exit processes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases. Support monthly payroll preparation and verification, including attendance, staff movements, deductions, statutory requirements, and other payroll inputs. Coordinate with Finance and external HR/payroll partners to resolve payroll and employee-related issues. Monitor employee attendance, leave, absenteeism, and other workforce-related matters. Support the implementation and monitoring of employee performance management processes. Assist managers and team leads with employee relations matters, disciplinary processes, warnings, and other HR interventions. Ensure HR policies and procedures are properly communicated and consistently implemented. Support compliance with applicable Nigerian employment, tax, pension, HMO, insurance, and other statutory requirements. Coordinate employee benefits and liaise with external service providers where required. Prepare HR reports, workforce updates, headcount reports, and other management reports. Support employee engagement initiatives, training, and staff development activities. Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee information. Provide HR guidance and support to employees and management as required. Identify gaps in existing HR processes and recommend practical improvements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Management, or a related field. 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within a consulting, professional services, technology, field operations, or fast-paced business environment. Strong understanding of Nigerian employment practices and HR administration. Practical experience with recruitment and onboarding. Experience supporting payroll preparation and verification. Good knowledge of employee relations and performance management. Familiarity with statutory requirements relating to PAYE, pension, NHF, HMO, and other employee-related obligations. Strong Microsoft Office/Google Workspace skills, particularly Excel or Google Sheets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational and documentation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. High level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality. Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
