POWER SYSTEMS MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and reliability of electrical power systems.
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.

• Supervise electrical technicians, contractors, and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with electrical, safety, and regulatory standards.

• Monitor power consumption and recommend energy efficiency measures.
• Oversee the installation, upgrading, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.

• Respond to electrical faults, outages, and emergencies.
• Manage power-related projects, budgets, and contractors.

• Conduct regular inspections and system performance assessments.
• Prepare technical reports and provide recommendations to management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Must be a fully registered Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK).

• Must have a valid EBK practising licence.
• Relevant experience in power systems management, preferably within the real estate, property management, construction, or facilities management sector.

• Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution systems, generators, transformers, switchgear, and related infrastructure.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
