Senior Lawyer

TR Law Firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Lawyer to join its legal team.

The Senior Lawyer will advise local and international clients on complex corporate, commercial, transactional, and regulatory matters, taking an active role in managing client assignments from initial assessment through completion. The position requires strong legal expertise, sound commercial judgment, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to work independently while contributing to cross-border and multidisciplinary projects.

Provide legal advice to local and international clients on corporate, commercial, contractual, and regulatory matters, including corporate structuring, governance, reorganizations, investments, and M&A.

Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, transaction documents, corporate documents, legal opinions, and other legal instruments.

Conduct legal due diligence and identify legal, regulatory, contractual, and transactional risks.

Support and coordinate complex domestic and cross-border transactions from structuring through closing.

Advise clients on regulatory compliance and interactions with relevant public authorities, and provide ongoing legal support on day-to-day operations and strategic projects.

Participate in negotiations with clients, counterparties, investors, financial institutions, public authorities, and other stakeholders.

Manage assigned client matters independently, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of legal services, while supervising and guiding junior lawyers as needed.

Contribute to client proposals, legal publications, and the development of the Firm's practice areas.

Requirements

Law degree from a recognized university; an LL.M. or other advanced legal qualification is an advantage.

At least 3   years of relevant professional legal experience, preferably with a law firm or in a sophisticated in-house legal environment.

Strong knowledge of Armenian corporate, commercial, civil, and regulatory law.

Demonstrated experience in contract drafting and negotiation, corporate matters, and complex business transactions.

Ability to independently manage legal matters and communicate directly with clients.

Excellent legal research, analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skills.

Strong business awareness and ability to provide practical, commercially oriented legal solutions.

Excellent command of Armenian and English; knowledge of Russian is an advantage.

Armenian Bar qualification is an advantage.

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, professional integrity, and ability to work effectively under deadlines.
