Environmental Specialist (Koh Lanta - Bridge projects) EN or CH Speaking

Position Overview The Environmental Specialist is responsible for environmental management throughout the lifecycle of infrastructure projects, including the preparation and implementation of environmental management plans, environmental monitoring during construction, preparation of environmental documentation and reports, and coordination with project teams and stakeholders to ensure effective environmental management.

• Prepare, implement, and continuously improve the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) and related environmental monitoring procedures.
• Monitor environmental performance during construction activities, identify potential risks, and propose corrective and mitigation measures.
• Prepare and submit environmental reports, compliance documents, and environmental monitoring records.
• Coordinate with project management teams, contractors, consultants, local authorities, and relevant stakeholders on environmental matters.
• Participate in environmental inspections, assessments, and on-site environmental management support activities.
• Support the enhancement of on-site environmental management capacity and execution.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or above in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in environmental management for road, bridge, or other infrastructure projects. Experience in at least one (1) infrastructure project (e.g. road or railway) with a contract value of not less than THB 200 million. Proven experience in infrastructure projects financed by multilateral development banks (MDBs), such as the World Bank, ADB, AIIB, etc. Holder of an environmental protection registered engineer certificate or a recognized professional qualification/title in environmental protection. Excellent English communication and report-writing skills. Strong coordination, on-site execution, and problem-solving capabilities. Thai nationality is preferred.
