Dental Assistant Figs Dental – King Albert Park, Singapore

Salary: $2,500–$3,000 per month, depending on experience Position: Full-time Work location: King Albert Park, Singapore

Figs Dental is looking for a reliable, friendly and experienced Dental Assistant to join our small and supportive team.

We are currently looking for candidates with previous dental clinic or dental assisting experience who are comfortable with chairside assisting, instrument sterilisation and general clinic duties.

Training will be provided on our clinic's workflow, systems and protocols.

Work Eligibility

Applicants must already be eligible to work in Singapore without requiring Figs Dental to apply for or sponsor an Employment Pass, S Pass or Work Permit.

Applicants with existing valid work authorisation that allows them to work without employer-sponsored EP, S Pass or Work Permit applications may also apply.

Working Hours

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Wednesday: 9:00 AM–1:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Sunday and public holidays: Closed

Applicants must be available to work on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and materials
• Clean, disinfect and sterilise instruments according to clinic protocols
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of treatment rooms and common areas
• Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable
• Schedule appointments and manage basic patient enquiries
• Update patient records and perform basic computer and administrative work
• Process payments and assist with front-desk duties when required
• Reinforce post-treatment instructions provided by the dentist
• Support the clinic team with day-to-day operations

Requirements

• Previous dental assisting or dental clinic experience
• Eligible to work in Singapore without requiring Figs Dental to sponsor an Employment Pass, S Pass or Work Permit
• Able to work on Saturdays
• Friendly, responsible and punctual
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to multitask and remain organised during busy clinic sessions
• Comfortable assisting with both clinical and reception duties
• Basic computer skills
• Willing to learn and follow the clinic's infection-control protocols
