Retail Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

Manage existing supermarket accounts and develop new ones Secure product listings and negotiate favorable retail arrangements Ensure consistent product availability, timely reordering and proper stock rotation Improve shelf positioning, product visibility and in-store branding Plan promotions, tastings and other supermarket sales activities Monitor pricing, stock levels, expiry dates and competitor activities Supervise sales representatives and merchandisers Build strong relationships with buyers, branch managers and store personnel Achieve assigned monthly sales and distribution targets Submit regular sales, stock and account-performance reports

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years’ verifiable experience in supermarket, FMCG or retail-channel sales Strong relationships with supermarket buyers and retail decision-makers Proven ability to secure product listings and grow sales Excellent negotiation, communication and team-management skills Good knowledge of Lagos and Ogun retail markets Ability to analyze sales performance and prepare accurate reports Must be honest, disciplined, proactive and target-driven Applicants may live anywhere in Lagos Previous employment and sales achievements must be verifiable Age should be between 28–50 years

Remuneration: Competitive monthly salary plus performance-based incentives, depending on experience, skills and proven results.
