*Overview*

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our retail team. This role involves engaging with customers, handling transactions accurately, and providing exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be proficient with POS systems, and have a passion for helping customers find the products they need. Multilingual abilities and technical sales experience are a plus, enabling us to serve a diverse clientele effectively.

*Responsibilities*

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a professional manner
• Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling, credit card processing, and returns
• Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
• Maintain merchandising displays and ensure the sales floor is organized and inviting
• Answer customer inquiries via phone or in person with excellent phone etiquette
• Manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment as needed
• Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly to ensure resolution and satisfaction
• Support sales goals through effective communication and suggestive selling techniques
• Keep accurate records of transactions and maintain cash register accuracy throughout shifts

*Qualifications*

• Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
• Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills
• Ability to perform product demos and engage customers through upselling techniques
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management capabilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and independently when needed
• Knowledge of merchandising principles and retail sales strategies is a plus
