SPECIALISED ENGINEER
We are looking for a competent SPECIALISED ENGINEER to design and programme PLC & computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines, robots and industrial automation in the oil and gas, aerospace, semiconductor, process industries safely and accurately to perform a variety of functions.
Your job is important since some machines might be complicated in nature that would require a critical thinking skills, concentration and precision. They must be accountable for their projects and ensure safety of technicians, work area, machines, including client premises. Knowledge of mechanical aspects of the machine will be an advantage.
Requirements:
- Specialised in Siemens and Heidenhain Control, with at least 8 to 10 years of experience in CNC and PLC Programing, installation and upgrading of system software.
- Programming and troubleshooting in STEP7 & TIA portal for siemens 840D and 840D solution line Programming Tools for 802D, 802D sl and828D sl, STEP7 Micro win PLC (S7 200)
- Experienced in Fanuc ladder programming
- Experienced in industrial automation and industrial robots.
- Skilled in CNC settings and operations, Human Machine Interface, Variable Frequency Drives, DC Drives, Mitsubishi PLC (GX Developer), GHOST Tool, Prosave, DriveTuning, Heidenhain & Amosin Scales Interfacing.
- Ability to perform servo parameter setting & tuning
- Able to manage and deliver projects within the stipulated timeline.
- Able to independently lead and guide the technicians
- Good decision making skills
- Professional degree in electrical and electronics
Salary, allowances will commensurate with experience between $5500 to $7000. Based in Singapore but may be required to travel if necessary.
