Job Summary

In this role, you will design, develop, and support backend microservices that enhance customer experience for life insurance distribution channels. You will apply your expertise throughout the software development lifecycle and collaborate with business units and IT teams to deliver innovative digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend microservices using Java 17+ (Java 21 preferred) to support life insurance distribution channels
• Apply Spring Boot and Spring WebFlux frameworks to build reactive, non-blocking, and asynchronous services
• Implement reactive programming concepts using Project Reactor, including Mono, Flux, and Reactive Streams, to optimize service responsiveness and scalability
• Develop and integrate reactive REST APIs with robust error handling and retry mechanisms to ensure reliable communication between services
• Configure and maintain reactive security using Spring Security, OAuth2, JWT, and reactive security configurations to protect APIs and data
• Collaborate with business units and IT teams to align technology solutions with organizational digital capabilities and business goals
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for backend microservices to maintain high availability and performance
• Continuously apply engineering best practices and innovative solutions to solve complex business problems
