Location: Nationwide, Ireland Salary: Competitive, depending on experience, €28,696.20 -€34,000
We are seeking caring, reliable, and motivated Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Ireland. The successful candidate will provide high-quality personal care and support to service users, helping them maintain dignity, comfort, and independence in a safe and respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Support service users with mobility and daily living activities.
- Help prepare meals and assist with feeding where required.
- Monitor and report any changes in the service user’s condition.
- Promote a positive, person-centred approach to care.
- Maintain accurate records and follow care plans.
- Work closely with nurses, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a healthcare or caring role is necessary
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- English (B1-Intermediate)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Good to Have
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support or equivalent.
- Some employers may provide training for candidates with experience.
- Manual handling and patient moving & handling training.
- CPR or First Aid certification.
- Qualified driver as position may involve travel
