Business Development Officer
Responsibilities:
Market Research and Strategy: Conduct research on market trends, competitor positioning, and customer needs to discover untapped markets or new revenue streams. Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify prospective clients, partners, or investors through networking, cold outreach, and industry events. Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and customers to encourage loyalty and repeat business. Proposals and Negotiations: Prepare customized business proposals, pitch offerings, and negotiate contract terms to close mutually beneficial deals. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and product development teams to align strategies, improve offerings, and boost brand visibility. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Analyze sales pipelines, review financial data, and report progress and metrics to upper management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Management, Human Resources, or a related field. Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in business development, sales, corporate marketing, or consulting. Previous experience in the training, education, consulting, or professional services industry is an added advantage Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
