Part-Time Teaching Specialist
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head ofTeaching and Curriculum, you will be taking on enrichment/ tuition classes at astipulated timing.
Job Description:
- Curriculum & Lesson Delivery
- Delivertuition and enrichment lessons aligned with MOE syllabus and learningobjectives
- Implementstructured teaching approaches to develop conceptual understanding andapplication skills
- Work closelywith the Head of Teaching & Curriculum to ensure consistency and quality oflesson delivery
- Student Development
- Teach, coach, and support students to achieve their academic potential
- Foster curiosity, confidence, and a positive attitude towards learning
- Identify individual learning gaps and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
- Assessment & Progress Tracking
- Mark assignments and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Monitor and track student progress regularly
- Prepare students for school assessments and major examinations (e.g. WA, EOY, PSLE)
- Parent Communication
- Build strong relationships with parents through regular updates
- Communicate student progress, strengths, and areas for improvement
- Partner with parents to support each child’s learning journey
- Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with the academic team to refine teaching strategies and materials
- Participate in training and professional development sessions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of curriculum and programmes
Qualifications:
- At least possess 1 year & above on relevant teaching or writing experience. Fresh graduates are welcome.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Passion for education, learning, and writing
- Genuine interest and enthusiasm in interacting with children
- Possess working knowledge and expertise of the Singapore education system
- Creative, meticulous, and driven individual
- Good time management, ability to work independently
- Collaborator with excellent communication skills
- Flexible, and able to manage change and ambiguity well
