Meat Department | Freshmart | Esterhazy, Saskatchewan

Job Position: Full Time Meat Clerk

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with our Meat Department team to provide customers with exceptional customer service.
• Maintain overall Meat Department appearance.
• Wrapping, labeling, and pricing meat products. Washing utensils, and equipment.
• Assist with unloading the truck. Receiving, rotating, and restocking shelves.
• Ensure the health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment is maintained.
• Other duties as assigned.

Hours:

• Full Time, 40 hours per week.
• 2 Saturdays per month.
• Daily shifts are typically 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a 1 hour unpaid lunch.
• This is a temporary position. To be evaluated/renewed at the end of the period.

What you will need:

• Computer and office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, be self-directed and have organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 Lbs(22Kg) repetitively.
• Valid Canadian work permit.

Nice to Haves:

• Food service industry experience.
• Food Safety Training, First Aid Training, Forklift Training.
