BOI Specialist

1. Covering full lifecycle management of BOI privileges, direct government liaison, and

strategic risk mitigation to maximize investment incentives.

1. Lead end-to-end BOI applications, including feasibility studies, investment promotion

proposals, and direct negotiation of maximum tax/non-tax incentives with BOI officers.

1. Act as the sole company representative in official BOI/IEAT meetings, site visits, and audition hearings. Independently handle complex inquiries, objections, and supplementary document requests.
2. Design internal SOPs and monitoring mechanisms to strictly control BOI conditions (e.g.Thai-foreign staff ratios, local raw material procurement, R&D expenditure,

export targets) to prevent privilege revocation.

1. Oversee the entire project timeline from submission through Final Report (FO),

including reviewing and certifying annual performance reports (Form FMT) before executive sign-off.

1. Serve as the in-house subject matter expert, providing binding compliance advice

to Finance (tax deductions), Procurement (duty free imports), and Operations (production capacity).

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, International Business, Finance, or Accounting. Minimum 5–8 years of direct hands-on experience in Thai BOI matters. Must demonstrate proven track record of having independently led at least 2 complete BOI projects from application to Final Report (FO). Deep knowledge of Thai Investment Promotion Act, BOI regulations, and IEAT rules. Proficiency in BOI e-Investment System and FMT reporting. Excellent drafting skills for official proposals and feasibility reports. Fluent in Thai (reading, writing, speaking) – able to defend proposals and rebut objections in Thai during BOI auditions. Business-level English – required for internal reporting to expatriate management. Strong negotiation, critical thinking, and high-pressure resilience. Detail-oriented, responsible, and proactive with a “builder” mindset (not just a follower).
