Job Title: Senior Software Architect

Location: Costa Rica, Perú, Colombia, Bolivia.

We at Coforge are hiring Senior Software Architect (#22429) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and lead the architecture of secure, scalable, and cloud-native SaaS applications using .NET, Angular, AWS, and modern architectural patterns.
  • Define and implement enterprise solutions leveraging microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, event-driven architecture, and API-first principles.
  • Mentor engineering teams, drive architecture reviews, establish technical standards, and promote engineering excellence across projects.
  • Champion AI-first software development by leveraging AI-powered development tools and best practices to improve productivity, software quality, and delivery speed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years as a Software Architect, Principal Engineer, or equivalent technical leadership role.
  • Expert proficiency in C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, and Angular 16+.
  • Strong experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases (Amazon DocumentDB preferred).
  • Proven experience designing enterprise SaaS applications using microservices, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, and event-driven architectures.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS (preferred) or Azure cloud platforms.
  • Experience designing secure, API-first, cloud-native applications.
  • Daily experience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.
  • Familiarity with AI concepts and workflows including LLMs, RAG, MCP, and agentic development.
  • Strong leadership, communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience establishing AI-assisted development standards and engineering best practices.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud automation.
  • Experience with observability, monitoring, and distributed systems.
  • Strong background in Agile software development environments.
  • Experience evaluating and governing AI-generated code quality.
