Oracle EBS Architect

London Hybrid (3/2 split) Contract £750 per day (via Umbrella)

cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in London. They are seeking an Oracle EBS Architect to work with them on a contract.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Oracle Finance architecture and IT delivery across EMEA.
• Manage and mentor Oracle Finance SMEs.
• Oversee Oracle GL, AP and Fixed Assets solutions.
• Lead implementations, rollouts, enhancements and production support.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and system designs.
• Ensure data quality, controls and financial reporting integrity.
• Drive process improvement and automation.
• Manage issues with business teams, IT teams and vendors.
• Lead governance and Design Authority sessions.
• Maintain documentation and provide user training.

The candidate:

• 15–20+ years’ experience, with around 15 years in Oracle Financials.
• Strong finance and accounting knowledge, ideally within banking.
• Hands-on Oracle Cloud and EBS experience.
• Strong experience with GL, AP and Fixed Assets.
• Full end-to-end implementation and production support experience.
• Knowledge of R2R, P2P and financial controls.
• Oracle tables and SQL troubleshooting skills.
• Strong business/technical stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
• Ability to bridge business requirements and technical solutions.
