Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Lesson Delivery
- Plan and conduct engaging online and physical English tuition lessons for O-Level and A-Level students
- For online lessons, deliver lessons via Zoom or other online platforms in a fully remote environment
- Tailor teaching methods to suit individual student learning styles and needs
- Adapt lesson delivery for both physical and online settings
Curriculum & Syllabus
- Demonstrate deep familiarity with the Singapore MOE O-Level and A-Level English syllabus
- Stay updated on syllabus changes and examination trends
- Curate lesson materials for students, including notes, worksheets, and practice papers
Student Development
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback
- Develop improvement plans for underperforming students
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
Requirements
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or a related field
- Strong understanding of the Singapore O/A-Level English syllabus
- Excellent communication and teaching skills
- Teaching experience is preferred, but outstanding fresh graduates will also be considered
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
