Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Accounting from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Accounting, Finance, Audit, or Tax, preferably with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
  • Brevet Tax A & B certification is mandatory.
  • Strong experience working in a manufacturing company; experience in automotive, electric vehicle, trading, or distribution businesses will be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a Public Accounting Firm / External Audit is highly preferred.
  • Experience or strong exposure to Internal Audit, Internal Control, and Risk Management.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian Accounting Standards (PSAK) and financial reporting.
  • Good understanding of Indonesian corporate taxation, including Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Tax, tax reconciliation, and tax compliance.
  • Experience in handling or supporting tax audits and communication with tax authorities will be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of month-end and year-end closing, General Ledger, Account Receivable, Account Payable, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and Cost Accounting.
  • Able to review financial transactions and identify accounting, tax, and internal control risks.
  • Capable of preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements, management reports, variance analysis, and financial performance analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear business insights and recommendations.
  • Able to prepare professional PowerPoint presentations and executive-level financial reports for the CEO and senior management.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with ERP systems is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight reporting deadlines.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken; Mandarin proficiency will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities: The Assistant Accounting Manager will support the Accounting Manager in managing daily accounting operations, financial closing, taxation, audit, internal control, and management reporting. The role will be responsible for reviewing accounting transactions, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, monitoring tax compliance, supporting external and internal audit activities, strengthening internal controls, and preparing financial analysis and executive-level presentations for the CEO and management. The position will also work closely with other departments to identify financial risks, improve accounting processes, and ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable Indonesian tax regulations.
