Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and cash-flow forecasts for construction projects.

Measure and value construction works, materials, variations, and completed work.

Monitor project expenditure and ensure costs remain within approved budgets.

Assist with procurement, tendering, bid evaluation, and contractor selection.

Prepare, review, and manage contracts, payment applications, and valuations.

Identify cost risks and recommend effective cost-control and value-engineering measures.

Maintain accurate cost records and prepare financial reports for project stakeholders.

Requirements:

Minimum of a B.Tech in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Relevant professional certificate or membership is an advantage. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Good knowledge of construction costs, BOQ contracts, and measurement. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant QS software. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
