About Dreambuilders At Dreambuilders.sg, kids don’t just learn to code. They learn to build. From block-based coding and robotics to AI-assisted app and game creation, our students turn their own ideas into real projects.  Role Overview We are looking for innovative, forward-thinking Part-Time Coaches to introduce primary and secondary school students to coding, robotics and AI. In this role, you will move beyond rote, syntax-heavy instruction. Instead, you will help students build real things: animated stories and games in block-based coding, robots that sense and move, and apps, games and websites created with Generative AI and natural-language prompts. Throughout, you will keep students focused on logic, design and critical thinking. You will coach across two formats: Holiday Camps: multi-day camps during local and international school holidays, ending with a Demo Day for parents

School Programmes: weekly enrichment or curriculum sessions conducted in schools

Class sizes range from 6 to 40 students depending on the format, at schools and partner venues across Singapore. Key Responsibilities Build Coding Foundations: Teach core computational thinking (sequences, loops, conditions, variables and events) through block-based platforms such as Scratch

Lead Robotics Sessions: Guide students to build, wire and program robots and physical computing projects using kits commonly used in Singapore schools, such as micro:bit, LEGO Education SPIKE, mBot or VEX.

Teach the Vibe Coding Mindset: Guide students to write clear, logical natural-language prompts that instruct AI to build their apps, games and websites.

Facilitate “Vibe & Verify” Workflows: Teach students that AI makes mistakes. Lead them through testing, debugging and reviewing AI-generated output to build resilience and strong logical thinking.

Scaffold Product Design: Help students think like designers and engineers by planning features, framing user stories and mapping out how their project works before they start building.

Lead Project-Based Classes: Deliver our lesson plans through interactive, hands-on sessions pitched to each level, from creative games and robots for primary students to functional apps, websites and more advanced robotics for secondary students.

Coach, Don’t Rescue: Ask the right questions so students solve problems themselves and keep every learner engaged; from those racing ahead, to those who are stuck.

Showcase Student Work: Prepare students to present their projects confidently to parents and teachers on Demo Day.

Care for Equipment: Set up, manage and pack away laptops, robotics kits and components so every session runs smoothly.

Qualifications & Requirements MOE Registration: You must be an MOE-registered instructor. If you are not yet registered, you must be willing to register with MOE before your first assignment.

Technical Fluency: Hands-on experience in at least one of: block-based coding (e.g. Scratch), robotics or physical computing kits, or AI-assisted coding tools and a willingness to learn the rest.

Debugging Mindset: Comfortable troubleshooting code, hardware and AI output when things don’t work as expected.

Strong Communication: Ability to break down complex technical logic into simple, everyday language that primary and secondary school students can easily grasp.

Classroom Presence: Enjoy working with young people, can hold a room’s attention, and stay calm and upbeat when technology misbehaves.

Reliability: Dependable and professional with students, parents and school staff.

Availability: Available during local and/or international school holidays and able to commit to the full duration of each camp / program assignment you take on.

Safeguarding: Willing to complete a background declaration and provide references.

Good to Have Youth Mentorship: Prior experience teaching or tutoring primary or secondary school students is highly advantageous.

Enrichment Experience: Experience running coding, robotics or STEM enrichment in schools or centres (eg. IMDA’s Code for Fun / AI for Fun) or coaching students for robotics competitions.

Background: Suitable for Computer Science, Engineering or STEM students, tech enthusiasts, or educators who embrace the evolution of AI in technology and learning.

Schedule & Compensation Commitment: Flexible part-time schedule across weekday after-school hours, weekends, and local and international school holidays. Choose the camps and programmes that suit you.

Compensation: Competitive per hourly / camp salary based on experience.

Onboarding: We will coach you on our curriculum and teaching approach before your first camp.
