Job Brief
The Campaign and Promotions Lead is responsible for managing and executing promotional campaigns that effectively communicate the brand’s message, engage the target audience, and drive business growth. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of promotional activities, from conceptualization to performance analysis, ensuring that each campaign aligns with broader marketing strategies and business objectives. The Campaign and Promotions Lead also collaborates with cross-functional teams and manages external partnerships to ensure cohesive and impactful campaigns.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Campaign Development
Design and implement innovative promotional campaigns that align with the company’s marketing goals, enhance brand visibility, and drive audience engagement.
Collaborate closely with the Creative Production Lead to ensure campaign materials align with brand messaging and are tailored to target audience preferences.
- Strategy Formulation
Develop strategic marketing plans for promotions that integrate with sales objectives and reflect market trends, ensuring that campaigns are aligned with business goals.
Implement multi-platform lead development strategies to maximize campaign reach and engagement.
- Team Management
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance on campaign strategy, execution, and promotional content development.
Foster a collaborative team environment, ensuring alignment across marketing, sales, and product teams to achieve shared goals.
- Budget Management
Oversee the budget for promotional campaigns, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize effectiveness and return on investment.
Track expenditures and adjust spending as necessary to meet budgetary and performance targets.
- Performance Analysis
Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of promotional campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs), including engagement rates, impressions, web page views, and lead generation.
Analyze data and provide recommendations for optimization and improved performance in future campaigns.
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with Sales, Product Development, and Customer Service teams to ensure marketing campaigns are fully integrated with business operations and support product launches and sales objectives.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive and effective promotional efforts.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Relations
Manage relationships with external vendors, media agencies, and partners to secure promotional spaces, materials, and media placements.
Negotiate contracts and maintain productive partnerships to ensure successful campaign execution.
- Market Research and Insights
Conduct thorough market research to stay informed of customer trends, competitor strategies, and emerging opportunities.
Leverage insights to shape promotional strategies that resonate with target audiences and enhance campaign outcomes.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Advertising, or a related field
Relevant certifications in digital marketing, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, or HubSpot are an advantage
Experience
3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, campaigns, or promotions
At least 1 to 2 years in a lead, supervisory, or team management capacity
Proven track record of planning and executing multi-channel campaigns end to end — from brief to launch to post-campaign analysis
Experience in B2B marketing, technology products, SaaS, or enterprise solutions is a strong advantage
Exposure to ERP, HRIS, cloud, or digital transformation industries is a plus
Technical Skills
Campaign planning and execution across digital and traditional channels
Proficient in social media marketing — Meta, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
Working knowledge of Google Ads, Google Analytics, and SEO/SEM fundamentals
Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or equivalent)
Strong data literacy — can interpret campaign KPIs, engagement metrics, and pipeline data to drive optimization
Budget management — experience allocating, tracking, and adjusting campaign spend
Market research and competitive analysis
Proficient in MS Office Suite — especially Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Lark, or equivalent)
Experience with project management tools (Lark, Asana, Trello, or similar)
Basic familiarity with creative briefing and review processes — able to direct and evaluate creative output without needing to design
