If so, then you could be the newest addition to our team as Product Designer (Maternity Cover).

At DFDS, we're continuously improving the way people and goods move across Europe through better digital experiences. Beyond your immediate team, you will also become part of one of two design chapters at DFDS, a close-knit professional community of 12 Product and Service Designers. The chapter is where we deep dive into our craft and where people challenge and learn from each other.

About you We believe the strongest teams are built on diverse perspectives, complementary strengths, and a shared commitment to learning from one another. That's why we're looking for a Product Designer who combines structure and curiosity with a genuine passion for understanding the people they design for. You are collaborative by nature and enjoy working closely with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders to solve complex challenges. You communicate openly, seek out different perspectives, and can clearly articulate the rationale behind your design decisions. Balancing user needs with business goals comes naturally to you, and you're motivated by creating simple, intuitive experiences that make a meaningful impact. You are comfortable taking ownership of your work from discovery through delivery, bringing both initiative and follow-through to everything you do. Most importantly, you have empathy for your users and a drive to continuously improve the products and services they rely on.
