(Senior) Consultant Assurance Role purpose

Provide independent assurance services to evaluate controls, compliance, and risk management practices, delivering clear insights that improve governance, reliability, and stakeholder confidence.

Core responsibilities

• Plan and execute assurance engagements, including scoping, risk assessment, testing, and reporting.
• Assess internal controls, operational processes, and regulatory or policy compliance.
• Identify control gaps and root causes; recommend practical remediation actions.
• Prepare high-quality deliverables (workpapers, findings, executive summaries) aligned with assurance standards.
• Present results to client stakeholders and support implementation of agreed improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to proposal development and engagement management.
• Support continuous improvement of assurance methodologies, templates, and quality review processes.

Required skills and experience

• Experience in assurance, internal audit, risk, controls testing, or related consulting work.
• Knowledge of assurance and control frameworks and professional standards (e.g., internal audit standards, ISAE/SOC concepts).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to synthesize complex information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including stakeholder management.
