ABOUT THE ROLE
The Assistant Manager, Marketing supports the delivery of CTM’s regional marketing strategy and works closely with the Marketing Manager, Asia and local business leaders. This role focuses on coordinating marketing activities, executing campaigns, and ensuring consistent brand presence across Singapore and the wider Asia region.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on, fast-paced environment, is proactive in solving problems, and can manage multiple priorities. The Assistant Manager will receive training on CTM’s marketing programs and work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the business to support impactful marketing outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Marketing Planning & Reporting
- Assist in developing and executing Singapore’s annual marketing plan and budget aligned with regional strategies.
- Conduct regular market research on the travel landscape in Singapore and summarise insights for regional alignment.
- Support data collection and reporting efforts, including audience analytics, surveys, and feedback channels.
- Assist with preparation of strategic reports, presentations, and consolidated marketing updates.
- Events & Partnerships
- Coordinate CTM’s participation in industry events, including logistics, booth preparation, collaterals, and attendee communications.
- Manage communications before, during, and after events to maximise engagement and lead generation.
- Support partnership initiatives with airlines, hotels, and suppliers, ensuring smooth coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Assist in planning and executing CSR initiatives aligned to regional or global priorities.
- Digital Marketing
- Support the growth and maintenance of digital channels including websites, social media, email marketing, and digital advertising.
- Assist in content creation, scheduling, posting, and community engagement for CTM’s Singapore-related social media activities.
- Monitor social media trends, competitor activity, and digital performance metrics.
- Support the execution of multi-channel brand awareness and lead-generation campaigns.
- Assist in digital campaign development, including product launches and regional/global coordinated initiatives.
- Communications
- Draft and support distribution of timely communications for internal and external audiences.
- Assist in internal staff engagement activities and communications.
- Coordinate with media, PR agencies, and external partners on opportunities as required.
- Brand Management
- Ensure brand consistency across marketing materials, presentations, proposals, and internal assets.
- Provide copywriting, editing, and basic design support for marketing collateral.
- Support the development and upkeep of CTM’s template library and branded materials.
- Assist in brand-building initiatives across the Asia market.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Assist with industry award submissions and related promotional activities.
- Participate in meetings and events; occasional regional or international travel may be required.
- Provide general marketing support and ad-hoc assistance as assigned by the Marketing Manager, Asia.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5years of marketing experience, preferably in B2B or services-based environments.
- Hands-on experience with digital marketing platforms such as WordPress CMS, marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo or similar), social media tools, and analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of brand principles and attention to detail in protecting brand integrity.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate campaigns, events, and multi-stakeholder projects.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently.
- Creative, organised, proactive, and adaptable to fast-moving business needs.
- Strong command of written and spoken English; Chinese language ability is an advantage.
- Travel industry experience is beneficial but not essential.
- A growth mindset, collaborative attitude, and willingness to learn and take initiative.
