General Executive

s are responsible for assisting with all of SET Committee events including preparation, promotion, and execution. This position will work closely with the co-chairs and other VPs to advocate for the mission of SET. Tasks include communicating feedback between the VPs and between the student community and our service.

Main Responsibilities Actively support the VPs and Co-Chairs with their projects

Contribute with constructive feedback from the student community as a representative of second-year, exchange, and transfer students at Sauder

Promote SET’s goal in creating a comfortable and inviting environment for all second years, transfers, and exchange students

Attend all SET events and meetings

Time Commitment 3-4 hours/week (may increase leading up to events)

Qualifications Second-year, transfer, or exchange (Winter Term 1 & 2 commitment) student at the UBC Sauder School of Business

Strong organizational and time management skills

Willingness to take initiative and approach new opportunities with enthusiasm

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Enthusiastic, personable, and passionate
