Systems Administrator/IT Manager

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain the institution's core banking system. Manage servers, networks, computers, and other IT infrastructure. Create and manage user accounts, access rights, and system permissions. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues. Implement appropriate cybersecurity and data protection measures. Manage regular data backups and recovery procedures. Maintain IT asset records and ensure proper maintenance of equipment. Support business continuity and disaster recovery arrangements. Provide technical support and guidance to staff. Monitor technology risks and recommend improvements to IT systems and controls.

Requirements

Degree/HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Relevant IT certifications are an advantage. 3–5 years' relevant experience, preferably in banking or financial services. Strong knowledge of networking, systems administration, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
