Role Overview: To contribute to the contractual and financial oversight of liner partnerships established between ocean vessel carriers across the Asia Pacific region. Acting as the first line of defence, this role safeguards the group's commercial and financial interests, provides leadership and guidance to the team, serves as a trusted advisor to Line Management and the VP on partnership strategy, and ensures consistent application of contractual terms across ANL and CNC partnerships. Key Responsibilities: Partnership Agreement Administration & Governance Support the Alliance & Partnership Director in the administration of partnership agreements across the Asia Pacific scope. Ensure effective implementation of agreements and anticipate potential financial and operational impacts. Participate in the negotiation of partnership agreements within scope and lead contractual discussions on agreed terms and conditions. Supervise partnerships of ANL (Oceania trade) and functionally supervise CNC (Intra Asia trade) agreements, ensuring alignment with Group partnership strategy. Act as the link between Line Management and the Alliance & Partnership Department in Marseille. Strategic Advisory & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for Line Management and the Vice President on partnership strategy. Provide analyses, reports, and management tools that support decision-making. Advise internal departments on contract interpretation and implementation. Coordinate with support functions and drive corrective or optimization actions. Financial Oversight & Claims Management Monitor the financial performance of contracts, including invoicing, disputes, collections, partners' disbursements, and cash-flow forecasts. Ensure continuous contractual monitoring so that commitments remain aligned with operational execution. Serve as an escalation point in the event of schedule disruptions (e.g., port omissions). Handle claims, compensation, and disputes with other shipping lines, maintaining diplomatic relationships while defending the Group's interests assertively. Team Leadership & People Management Act as overall owner for all partnerships within scope, providing leadership, guidance, and support to the team. Set clear objectives and foster a high-performance culture within the team. Organize, prioritize, and delegate work assignments to ensure optimal team productivity. Develop team capabilities and build a sustainable talent pipeline.

What We’re Looking For: Postgraduate degree (4–5 years) in Finance, Economics, Business Control, or a related field, or graduation from a Business School. Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping lines partnerships or alliance management (mandatory) with at least 5 years of experience in the shipping industry. Comfortable with digital IT tools and MS Office, particularly advanced Excel functions. Proven experience in people management and team leadership Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Rigor, reliability, and a collaborative mindset. Ability to work with multiple internal stakeholders (Line Managers, VP) and external agents and other shipping lines.
