Warehouse Operative
Location: Dereham, Norfolk Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:00pm & Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm Job Type: Full-time, Temp - Perm
Our client, based in Dereham, is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Operative to join their busy team. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a hardworking individual who is keen to develop their skills and secure a long-term opportunity.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be involved in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring goods are picked, packed and prepared accurately and efficiently.
Duties will include:
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading goods where required.
- Moving stock around the warehouse safely.
- Checking goods and orders for accuracy.
- Preparing products for dispatch.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
- Following health & safety procedures and company policies.
- Working as part of a team to meet daily targets.
- Carrying out general warehouse duties as required.
About You
The successful candidate will be:
- Reliable and hardworking.
- Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Physically fit and happy to carry out manual duties.
- Able to follow instructions and company procedures.
- Organised with good attention to detail.
- Flexible and willing to get stuck in.
Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
