Financial Controller

Manage the financial planning process including budget / forecasting and month end closing.

As a business partner, to work closely with regional departments and country heads / country finance in-charge to conduct business review and make recommendations.

Provide key business insight to management with the objective to highlight opportunity or risks for management decision making.

Lead Open to buy process (OTB) by partnering with Merchandising team and keeping track of the performance to manage the inventory effectively.

Manage the balance sheet including optimizing working capital utilization and maximizing cash flow for the country particularly for inventory / capex projects / depreciation execution of inventory.

Reviewing and assisting with investment proposals (SOP) and the subsequent assessment of the effectiveness of investments. Coordinate with Paris to validate the SOP according to SOP procedures.

Interface with country, HQ, regional team for various projects related to SAP, OTB, POS information systems and finance related projects.

Interact with other management team members to provide consultative support to planning initiatives through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendation.

Coordinate with countries to ensure compliance with local regulatory, tax, audit and reporting requirement.

Support the Regional Chief Operating Officer to develop and coach the regional finance team and country finance team.
