Education:
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Hospitality administration/management, general.
Tasks:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports.
- Supervise and check assembly of trays.
- Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.
- Organize buffets and banquets.
- Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions.
- Manage cash.
