UI/UX Design Intern (m/w/d) - Pflichtpraktikum

Most design internships mean mockups nobody ships. This one is different.

Calypso Ventures is an AI startup from Berlin, founded by two Oxford graduates. Our software helps some of the world's largest energy companies trade LNG smarter and cuts CO2 emissions equal to what 330 million trees absorb in a year.

Design at Calypso is AI-driven. We prototype with AI tools, refine in Figma and ship in days instead of months. As our UI/UX intern, you learn a way of designing most designers have not even heard of yet, on software real traders open every morning.

Tasks

You design screens that LNG traders at global energy companies use every day You work AI-first: prototype with AI tools, refine in Figma, ship within weeks You evolve our design system together with the team You turn user feedback and usability tests into decisions that make the product better

Profile

You are an enrolled student and your degree requires a mandatory internship (Pflichtpraktikum, 4 to 6 months) You have first design work of your own, university projects fully count You are curious about AI tools and complex products, and comfortable working in English Not sure you tick every box? We offer

1,300 to 1,400 euros per month, 4 to 6 months, full-time mandatory internship Personal mentoring by our CTO, with a weekly 1:1 Your own desk in our office in Berlin-Charlottenburg, in the middle of the team A portfolio piece that is live software used by real clients, not a school exercise The option to stay on as a working student after your internship
