You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST of NAVY PERSONNEL COMMAND.

Major duties

  • You will perform independent financial analysis supporting all phases of budget execution, funding allocation and operational accounting for Navy personnel orders.
  • You will track obligations and expenditures in accordance with regulations.
  • You will process and reconcile a variety of financial transactions and accounts.
  • You will generate reports from financial systems.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Providing information concerning and interpreting standard organizational budgetary, accounting, or financial administrative procedures, practices, and regulations. 2. Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Access to analyze large amounts of data, develop a plan of action based on findings, and prepare spreadsheets. 3. Tracks obligations and expenditures in accordance with regulations to ensure accurate accounting of funds. 4. Using a variety of financial management and accounting software applications in extracting, analyzing and interpreting financial data.
