Education:

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Work site environment:

Noisy.

Tasks:

• Fit and assemble prefabricated metal parts to build heavy industrial machinery.
• Read blueprints to determine work requirements .
• Move and align subassemblies and components.
• Install major components such as gears, pumps, motors or hydraulic assemblies.
• Inspect furniture and fixture subassemblies and finished products for conformance to quality standards.

Equipment and machinery experience:

• Engines.
• Pumps.

Transportation/travel information:

Travel expenses paid by employer.

Work conditions and physical capabilities:

• Physically demanding.
• Handling heavy loads.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Attention to detail.

Experience:

2 years to less than 3 years.
