WELDER

The Welder Fabricator is responsible for performing welding, cutting, and fabrication works related to the maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery, and metal structures within BRANIA SULIT CORPORATION’s oil mill and rice mill operations. The role ensures that all fabricated and repaired components meet operational standards and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities: Perform welding and fabrication works on machinery parts, conveyors, storage tanks, frames, and other mill equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or measurements to plan layouts and assemblies. Operate welding machines, cutting torches, grinders, and related tools efficiently and safely. Assist in the installation, modification, and repair of mechanical structures within the mill facilities. Inspect completed welds and fabrications to ensure accuracy, strength, and durability. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the workshop and welding area. Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize equipment downtime. Observe strict compliance with company safety rules and wear appropriate PPE at all times.

Qualifications/Requirements: High School graduate or Vocational course in Welding or related field. Experience in industrial or plant welding/fabrication work (preferably in oil or rice mill operations). Knowledge in MIG, TIG, and SMAW welding techniques. Ability to read technical drawings and measure accurately. Physically fit, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision. TESDA certification is an advantage but not required.

Remarks: Applicants must be willing to work on-site at the mill and perform hands-on fabrication tasks as needed. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in industrial machinery maintenance.
